Tree Cabling and Bracing
Tree Cabling and Bracing
Reasons a tree might require cabling or bracing:
- Splitting Trunk
- Cracked Limbs
- Unstable Unions
- Risk Management
Tree Cabling is one of the services provided at Paul Bunyan Tree Service. The materials used for Tree Cabling are technologically advanced, and designed specifically for the Tree Care Industry. Paul Bunyan Tree Service uses a sleek method that doesn't distort the beauty of your tree’s trunk structure. Cables are inserted directly through the Tree Branch and secured with a heavy duty wire stop on the back side of the branch. This method does away with all of the gaudy brackets and splices used in older methods.
Plus, the cable has a breaking tensile strength of 15,000 pounds, and is specifically designed for use with industry standard wire stops. Once installed, the cabling will hold up against torrential downpours and heavy winds. This includes the weight of accumulated ice and snow.
Bracing the tree trunk involves drilling a hole and inserting a rod through the junction of unstable unions. Reduction Pruning must be done before cabling and bracing. Sometimes tree removal is safer and more economical than Tree Cabling.
